Willow Camille Reign Smith (born October 31, 2000 in Los Angeles, United States) is an American actress, singer and daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Her debut single Whip My Hair was released onto the internet in September 2010 and resulted in her being signed to Jay-Z 's label Roc Nation. She will now look to release an album sometime in early 2011. Her music career is heavily influenced by pop megastar Rihanna , as she stated that she worships the barbadian goddess and that she's her major idol.
Her elder brother is a fellow child actor Jaden Smith, and paternal half-brother to Trey Smith. She along with her brothers' are youth ambassadors for project Zambia in conjunction with the Hasbro corporation-which helps children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. According to the Whip My Hair Songfacts, Willow already has dipped her toes in the entertainment industry having made her acting debut at the age of 6, starring alongside her father in 2007's lI Am Legend . Her credits also include voice-over work for the animated feature Madagascar 2.
